William F. Purser has been working with glass since the age of nine. Learning the basics from his family. At age sixteen Bill went to work with lead crystal in the form of glass blowing. William and his wife Susan have had a studio in the Florida Keys for almost a decade now. Bill uses the tropics for inspiration in his work. This year William celebrates 39 Years in the art of glass making |
What is lampwork? Lampwork is a form of glass blowing. Utilizing a torch and heating up solid glass rod or tubing. Once the glass reaches a workable heat it is formed into any desired shape. |
